Painting and be a tedious and stressful task but when your finished
project comes out just the way you wanted it to it becomes very
rewarding.
When taking on a painting project I think that the preparation is the
most difficult part of the job. The first thing that I always do is patch
any small holes or cracks in the wall, sand them, and then brush them over
with some latex primer.
Now it is time to cover the floors and mask off the woodwork, I think
this is the part that takes more time than painting.

If you miss some and the paint dries on your wood the best thing to use
is Denatured Alcohol, as it will remove the paint without hurting the
natural wood finish.
Our grandson kind of missed his painting project one day on our kitchen
table. I thought all of the kids' paint was washable but I was
wrong.
Take a rag and dampen it with the alcohol and rub the spot to remove
unwanted paint. Be sure to read all of the cautions on the label and
please keep this away from children.
There you have it now the paint marks are gone after using the
Denatured Alcohol, and it didn't remove the finish on the wood.
